"He who wants a Rose must respect the Thorn."

~ Persian Proverb

Jessica has been fascinated with the spirit world, psychic work, and Native American cultures since childhood, after her first Spirit experience at the age of 9.  She began exploring her interests in holistic metaphysical methods in her teens for her own healing with crystals, psychic development, and different forms of earth based spirituality, which lead to various formal training, practices, and studies in a variety of spiritual and metaphysical healing methods over the last 27 years.  During her years of spiritual and metaphysical training and studies, she had other roles in the community. However, up-heaving and difficult spiritual challenges arose that pushed her to commit her to healing work full time.   Her prior roles, however, provided life learning experiences and teachings that have assisted her in not only her own healing path, but also in her healing work in her practice.  She has currently been in professional private practice working with clients and students for the last 9 years, and she is fully committed to her shamanic work to assist others.

Her calling to the work also came with years of emotional empathic intuitive challenges, chronic bone issues, chronic sinus and intestinal illnesses, personal near fatal experiences that were life altering awakenings, in addition to surviving the suicide of a beloved sibling, along with additional challenges.  Through these challenges, she sought alternative healing modalities to work through both physical and emotional processes for her own healing journey in conjunction with traditional medicine.  She believes we all have the ability within to transform life's most difficult stumbling blocks into life's greatest stepping stones, to become who we truly are in the journey of life if we so choose;  for our deepest wounds and traumas can be our greatest teachers of growth, strength, and empowerment, and are truly our deepest opportunities of growth.   She has had a life-long love and respect for Native cultures, and is passionate about their ancient ways of healing, and incorporating them and sustaining them in our modern times.
Jessica's Focus & Passion

Jessica's passion in healing work is dedicated to assisting clients in their life journey, healing process, and challenges; and to work with those challenges as tools for healing and empowerment, learning, and growth.  As her own path to healing work came with various trials and significant traumas, she has a genuine and authentic down to earth understanding, and compassionate and realistic ability to relate to her clients.  She strives to come from a place of understanding and experience in "walking in similar shoes" from the energetic and life perspective, honoring the balance of both spiritual and human experiences.  She has a realistic, straightforward, and practical approach - with honesty, quality, and integrity as her top priorities in her work.  She believes in presenting the truth to clients from the Spirits unaltered - weather that be easy or difficult to hear; for it is only when things are honestly revealed, that there is an opportunity they can truly be healed.  She facilitates her healing work in person with clients, and truly believes that clients get the most out of their session work when they are present in session and committed to their healing process.  She has worked with clients from all walks of life and backgrounds throughout the New England area - throughout various areas of Connecticut, in addition to New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.

In addition to her focus in facilitating private healing sessions, Jessica also focuses in space clearing work.  She has extensive experience in working with properties with extensive traumas and paranormal activity.  Her space clearing work has also encompassed a dedication to many years working with healing and honoring trauma and issues connected to the Pequot War, in spaces and on land, throughout Connecticut.

Jessica also enjoys teaching and fostering those called to learn healing work. She has taught Reiki, Shamanic Healing, and Crystal Healing over the years.  Her current teaching focus is dedicated to Crystal Healing and Shamanic Healing apprentices in her programs.  She also teaches various workshops, and facilitates Shamanic Journey Circles.

Formal Training & Credentials

Jessica has committed to formal training in all areas of her practices.  All of her training has been hands on and in person with her mentors, like healing was taught in the "old traditions" - in person, and over a period of many years, of dedicated study with teachers.

A Shamanic Teacher and Shamanic Practitioner, she has been dedicated to several years of professional shamanic training, including a  5 Year Shamanic Apprenticeship with Gail Gorelick that encompassed her Practitioner and Teacher training.
She pursued further Shamanic training with Sandra Ingerman, Hank Wesselman, Nan Moss, and additional Shamanic mentors.  She is also an Ordained Minister with Circle of the Sacred Earth - a church dedicated to shamanic practices.
A Shamanic Medium, she has also committed to several studies with various Medium and Intuitive mentors.  She is also a Crystal Healing Teacher and Melody Certified Crystal Healing Practitioner.  She has an extensive background in Crystal Healing from many years of professional training with 5 different Crystal Mentors, combined with her 27 years experience in working with crystals since childhood.  She is the creator of her Stone Spirit Program - a Crystal Healing Intensive Certification Program, which has been Accredited by the World Metaphysical Association, and is also the creator of Shamanic Spirit, her Shamanic Practitioner Certification Program.  She is also a Reiki Teacher and Practitioner, and is also trained in Acupressure.  She is devoted to both her healing work with others and her own personal healing process, and pursues continued education and continued personal healing on a regular basis for herself.   She is also a member of many professional holistic healing organizations, and honors the work to both spiritual, ethical, and professional standards.

Ancestral Connections

Jessica's intuitive abilities and calling to her work is also honored in her bloodline through a unique combination of Strega and Shamanic.   Her maternal great, great, grandmother was a Strega in Italy; she also has Native heritage of the Yakut through her paternal line, in addition to ancestral lineage connections to Genghis Khan in both lines.  She also has a combined ancestry of Polish, Slavic, French, German, Balkan, Finnish, Scandinavian, Middle Eastern, Asian, and Mongolian roots.  Her focus in Shamanic healing is Core Shamanism, North American, and Siberian traditions, in addition to honoring those of her Ancestors.

Community Work

In addition to her private practice work, Jessica also believes in returning healing to the community.  She has done pro bono healing for the elderly, terminally ill individuals and rescue animals, support groups, and ongoing local healing ceremonies for the land pertaining to connections with the Pequots.  She has lectured and taught workshops in local high school and college venues, participated in local community healing events, and has been a guest speaker on various radio stations.  She currently donates time specifically for Felines at Dr. Geri Katz's office, Aristokatz, in Fairfield, CT.  She also continues her shamanic work connected with the Pequots as a dedication to her shamanic practices. Jessica also enjoys writing to educate the community about Shamanism; she has written a variety of published articles on the local and international scope.

A life long resident of Connecticut, Jessica resides with her husband Jim, a Biology and Environmental Science Teacher, and their cat companions, Manny, Layla, Lola, and Starla.  She is grateful for and honors the journey of life and the Spirits, all of her mentors and colleagues, the beautiful spirits of nature, the Pequots, the ancestors, for Jordan, who has taught her so much in life and continues to in spirit;  and especially the spirits of the stones, who have resonated with her since childhood and began her journey on the Shamanic Path.
